Skiing off piste in Scotland means mastering the full gamut of snow types and weather conditions or waiting for those rare blue sky days when the stars align to give perfect weather and conditions in some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. In this short film we join Off Piste Performance for a weekend of atmospheric spring skiing on Ben Nevis. Martin Burrows Smith, Scottish steep skiing pioneer, guides us through a brief history of the escape from the pistes in the 60s.
