Another competition I won't win. But then neither will anybody else.

I have won two UKC competitions over the years. If you are questioning their integrity you are sadly misguided.

You can find the user profile of the winner(s) of each comp here once it is finished:

Unfortunately UKC/H staff can't enter the competitions - the inhumanity!

Maybe he's just really terrible at the questions.

Perhaps you could enter a competition to win a tiny violin.

I have two nice Arc'teryx jackets courtesy of UKC.

I won a midge-repelling hat once for a poem about midges on this site.

Everyone who submitted a poem won one, in fact, which somewhat devalued the exercise. A sort of non-competitive competition. Maybe stage more of these but with better prizes, Goretex, tents, etc?

Mind you, if this is the same pair of Asolo Greenwood GV boots that's also available to win in the latest Summit, that must lengthen the odds somewhat...

That is a terrible thing to say, you are saying UKC are cheats.
One of my climbing partners has won a couple of things and I have won some snazzy Ocun, jeans.

What I meant was that when I originally tried to follow the link to the competition I went to a page that said "does not exist on this site" or something of the sort. Obviously now fixed.

I think that you realise that your post was open to misinterpretation. Glad that you cleared this up.
