Heading out to Costa Blanca for 7 days for the first time on Wednesday evening. Typically the forecast is for rain all week. Any advice on what crags stay dry and how reliable the forecast is out there? We don't have a car and are flying into Valencia planning to head straight to Gandia. Hoping the forecast changes but if it doesn't...

any suggestions welcome

Thanks!

Forecast is fairly unreliable, but......

A few areas of the main crag at Gandia will stay dry in light rain. The Bovedon cave stays dry whatever the weather, although the routes are all hard!

I would say that when it forecasts wet weather for a week in the Costa Blanca it is rarely like our wet weather. It might be a bad shower and then it will be dry again in no time.

Thanks for the suggestions / reassurance! Looks like we may just chance it with Gandia and hope for the best.

Some Blanca crags for a rainy day:

Sella wild side https://rockaroundtheworld.co.uk/2016/12/18/sella-wildside-a-yectoyd/

Gandia Bovedon and Bovedos https://rockaroundtheworld.co.uk/2017/02/23/bovedos-or-more-like-bovedont/

... and  L'Ocaive

Alternatively, we've often out-flanked rain on the Blanca with a drive further south to the Murcia area, for example https://rockaroundtheworld.co.uk/2017/02/13/redovan-el-rut-2/
