Sprout flavoured crisps  :-D

For when you want that  delicious hit of sprouts on the go , without walking around with a bag of soggy sprouts in your pocket.

I'll try and think of a few more.

And yes I know its still November but its on the horizon now,  it's 4 weeks till Christmas eve.

My 4 year old God daughter wanted a compass and map for Christmas. This has made my Christmas and I have happily bought them for her :-D

I love Christmas, I like all the pretty colours, lights etc and all the socialising. I just don't think it should start before December!

It begins November 6th now like it or not

Lol, her parents might have a few suggestions! Ha ha

She lives in Sheffield, so got her a dark peak map. She currently insists on carrying the map on all walks!

Not in our house it doesn't! My husband's birthday is Nov 30th, so no decorations or Christmas themed anything until after that. I have done Christmas presents for the god kids already as stuff in the family this year mean that Dec might get busy, but nothing else until Dec!

What I find hilarious about my sprout flavoured crisps is the disclaimer on the multipack packaging .

It states

"Image of sprouts for illustrative purposes only. Product contains no Brussel Sprouts ; contains flavourings only"

Brilliant .

It upsets me immensely that mince pies have to be seasonally restricted - I want year round availability! (too lazy to make my own before anyone suggests)

My 4 year old niece loves maps too!  We were on the Isle of Wight earlier this year and she insisted on carrying the printout of the map that came with the directions to the holiday cottage everywhere we went. Every time we went anywhere she would get it out and show us where we had been, where we were and where we were going.  She was almost never right, but it was lovely to watch

Our local pub opens on Christmas morning, a walk round for possibly the most enjoyable and social pint of the year. I can't think of anything else I enjoy about Christmas but I'm an old grump

Being released from the guilt associated with eating and drinking too much for a little while.

Doesn't mean I'll feel good about it.

Oh, and those 2 or 3 weeks where you can tell the kids to behave or Santa wont come. I can see their sweet little conflicted faces even as I type.

In reply to Chive Talkin\':

Just thought of possibly the greatest thing about Christmas.

I get 2 weeks off work.

Now that's magic .
