Can do, but you need to close hillandben @ outlook.com to hillandben@outlook.com in your email connection because it won't work as it is!

From Summer 1991. Just quickly took these images of photos in an old album. If of interest, can take more carefully.

Looking at the 7/13/2015 imagery. Good grief it's bare. The bottom of the Brenva ridge looks like a rubble choss-fest.

Definitely no summer routes any more.

Where is that imagery? (I can't see a link to it in the article.) Thanks.

Your hair state correlates well with the condition of the Brenva Face!

You have to use the Google Earth "time machine" - on my version it's a little clock icon with an arrow around it that when you click it, pops up a time scale.

As an aside, when you go to Kent, the timescale goes back as far as 1940.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll take a look.

Download the desktop 'Google Earth Pro' (now free to use) from here:

https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/earth/versions/#download-pro

The resolution you can zoom into is much better than the browser based version and it has limited GIS functions as well.
