Bouldering in Ireland

Best source for portable information on pan-Irish bouldering?

Amazon’s algorithms want £3.5k for the out-of-print guide, which seems rather steep.

Vertical Life app seems like one option.

Shame the battery life on my iPhone is down to about 8 minutes.

I believe Dave is working on a new edition of the guide...not that this is of a help to you.

Pretty sure you could find a topo for some of the Glendo boulders if you asked about.

Would give Dave a shout. Super helpful guy. May not be portable but will surely give you a steer.

Am not a boulderer (and haven't clambered over 'em for, err, about 50 years now) but the Glenda boulders must be worth a shot.

As Al Manson once said in the Caley guide. 'And now we've come to the best bit - the boulders. Well, they're out there. Enjoy!"  (or words to that effect.)

Dave’s website said summer 2019 but I’ve been in touch and he’s just started the new guide. Won’t be ready this year.

Thanks for that.

Mountaineering Ireland want about a tenner for postage. But perhaps at that cost you get personal delivery by a footman in livery?
