Easy in lakes

Hi all we are heading to the lake district/north pennies  I a few months and am hoping to get out to do some bouldering we are still new to outdoors stuff so are looking for easy bouldering v4 max anyone have any recommendations of where we should be going

There is a new bouldering guide coming out very soon, which will definitely help you! Until you can get your hands on that, st bees is my favourite so far, but ive had a good day near Coniston too ad thpse sort of grades.

Don't really want to buy guide book for somwhere I'm not going to be going more than a few times

As has been pointed out loads of times before...

We climbers are a funny lot, we spend loads on transport to get to our climbing but baulk at buying things like guidebooks unless we're going to get loads of use out of them.

(I include myself in this behaviour)

Go to lakesbloc website you can download the topos for free, all above board.Carrock, St bees, Honistor boulders(limited but great)are all good at lower-mid grades

Just had a look at lakesbloc. You can't download everything because of the new guidebook that's coming out.

Some downloads are still available.
