Just finished reading this and really enjoyed it.  Well, 'enjoy' is not the right word as lots of it is pretty harrowing but I'd highly recommend it for both the Scottish mixed accounts, and the insight into Alan.

Many thanks to Grant Farquhar for putting this together.

Cheers, Ross.

How does Alan come across in the book?

There’s not a short answer to that, it’s one of the fascinating aspects of the book and I wouldn’t want to be a spoiler.

It was clearly bad to be on the wrong side of him, and probably easy to get there.

From his difficult background it’s understandable why he ended up that way.

Cheers, Ross.
