Finale for Xmas and N Year- too cold/wet or OK?

I was thinking of going cragging in Spain for Xmas and New Year but the trains aren't panning out that cheaply/conveniently (I don't fly). Do you think Finale could be a goer at that time of year, or too much of a gamble with the weather?

I"ve been climbing there at cristmas in nice weather and got soaked easter... So you have to take chances. What you definitely want is a sunny aspect that time of the year. 

Personally, if i had the choice between finale in winter or crags in the south of france, i'd opt for France somerwher close to the coast.
