Hello.

During my trips to Sheffield, Hathersage I pass the EuroStar London St Pancras International Entrance. I also see boarding schedules for European cities like Paris and Brussels.

I have come up with an amazing idea!....

I am planning a Petzl GriGri tour via train.

I have some names lined up already and a few people interested.

What do people think?

What crags, walls and countries would you recommend?

Well you could dip your toe in the water with a trip to Fontainebleau. I think you’d like it there.

You’ve been misinformed. It’s still a long way to the Alps from Font.

But that’s good, as it makes it much closer to London!

Font is somewhere you would definitely enjoy. Perhaps you could ask someone like Ian Dunne who has worked with you before whether he could help plan a short trip there for you? 

In the right professional company I think a few days bouldering on the classic circuits would be a brilliant experience considering how much fun you had on the grit. The Yellow/Orange circuits would provide as much bouldering as you could ever ask for  

Happy to see you getting your sea legs and looking further afield. Remember, good company makes for the best experience.

You got me psyched for Font!

Ian might come along on the trip if he is not busy.

I know that Joby Maw Davis who I did my FC training with is interested. He is an MIC holder and is doing his DC assessment.

FC = Foundation Coach

DC = Development Coach.

Ian wants to coach me more and I we might do a day on the grit together.

It helps a lot.
