I looked around at the endless space again. We had been cast adrift. Abandoned, surrounded by nothing; no snow to melt, no worrying storm clouds. Good stuff and glad all are ok.

FYI, "The Great Game" is also the name of a Paul Pritchard route in Kyrgyzstan's Ak Su valley, named for the same reason I believe. It's also an impressive route, being something like 1100m of granite with an E5 6b crux.
