A friend in the industry contacted them about these jobs. No salary advertised, and no response when the recruitment team were emailed (no direct phone line either).

Unfortunately a common theme with job adverts it seems.

In reply to Dave 88: "No salary advertised" you're not alone in this complaint. I've withdrawn from a job application during an interview because the HR rep / manager wasn't being straight about salary ranges.

I just don’t understand who it benefits. If the salary doesn’t match the applicants expectation, it’s in everyone’s interest to know that before the interview. Otherwise the interview could be a complete waste of everyone’s time.

They don't advertise a salary so they can pick the cheapest applicant.
