Bavarian Direct: Hubers

The Huber Brothers travel to Baffin Island in this feature length film. Their aim was to tackle the 1000m high south wall of Mount Asgard, which had never had a free ascent. The brothers, along with Mario Walder planned seven weeks to battle the 60km approach and their climbing objective.

Of course, there were many much more memorable climbing moments in the film than just a small light-hearted jab at cheeses! Liked it all.

That sketchy runout is one of the most gripping bits of climbing film I've seen - I nearly jumped out of my seat at the dyno! The footage of the other desperate pitch was brilliant too.

Fantastic film.
