Today (25 May) marks the 65th anniversary of the first ascent of Kangchenjunga (8,586 m) by British mountaineers Joe Brown and George Band. Mick Conefrey, author of the recently released book 'The Last Great Mountain: The First Ascent of Kangchenjunga', shares the story of this historic climb.

Note: Probably just a typo, but "Joe cranked up his oxygen set to 6 litres per second..." should be per minute.
