I stumbled across this small sandstone crag while out walking the other day

In addition to the two listed routes there was a pair of bolted lines to the right of these which looked a bit more difficult. Does anyone know anything about this crag or these routes?

Yes,is the cleaning rope still tied in? Interesting historical site, once connected to the river by the pill before the Tennant Canal was built, copper works specialising in making copper jackets for bullets replacing the paper  cartridges.Hence the red jacket reference. A buried pipeline was built from the Llandarcy site alongside the canal to connect it to Swansea in WW2.

Chat to the first ascensionist about it. He's very knowledgeable about most of the crags in South Wales. They may well be his own projects that he's left during lockdown.

Always happy to chat climbing too! I chatted about similar scenario at ogmore

In reply to JGriffiths47:

If you are sniffing around the projects they are closed, hence the presence of the cleaning rope which hopefully is still in place ready to be used whenever the projecter who placed the bolts decides to return.

Thanks for all the info. Yes there were two cleaning ropes still there. I certainly don't have my eyes on any projects, I was just curious as I wasn't even aware that crag was there before

Strange to be disliked as that is the etiquette of new routing around here, is it not?
