Report in today's Graun which states with confidence that camping and s/c accommodation will open - in England - from July 4th.

Good news for those of us itching to get into the mountains for more than a day.

Which bit of

"On 4 July caravan and campsites and self-catering accommodation are expected to reopen in England"

Made you write

"Report in today's Graun which states with confidence that camping and s/c accommodation will open"

They seem a bit more hesitant than you.

More importantly,  what about Scotland in general and the Highlands and Islands in particular?

I'm supposed to be in a S/C cottage in North Wales right now. Its been bumped to the last week in August though.

Hopefully it will be safe to go then, note the use of the term safe and not the term allowed. Just because the government says we can doesn't mean its safe to do so.

3 weeks later if we follow the current route. We may be in the odd position of being able to holiday in England but not at home in Scotland.
