I'm currently looking to use a backpack as a replacement for my camera bag. I'm currently considering

Deuter Freerider Pro and Osprey Kamber. 

Can anyone advise if there are any other rear opening packs I have not considered please 

I've been looking at Ortovox packs recently. A lot of their packs have the fully opening back that could work. 

I've no real world experience of them but they look good!

Haglofs roc rescue might work for you - carries the normal Haglofs price tag though!!

I have a 40l sac that they made for me based on that design, virtually unused, that I'm looking to sell. PM me if you might be interested.

Rab rogue 48 crag pack is worth a look in. Only annoyance for me is the side pouches are useless for holding a flask in due to the 'designer' slopey sides. And nowhere to hang a helmet

I was doing to say.. Dakine sequence, but didn't seen to be made any more.

I'm a big fan of dakine bags though.. They seem to last a long time.

Is that still the case, or do they fall apart now?
