Grateful for any help you could offer. I am wild camping in the Cairngorms, early May for the first time. Tent is an MSR Hubba Hubba. What sleeping bag would you recommend? Was hoping to use synthetic. (Mountain Equipment Nova III). 

Had a quick google of the bags ratings and you should be fine unless there’s a freak meteorological event.

Dont know your experience but take a decent camping mat, Karrimat should be fine, sleep in dry clothing, eat warm food and hydrate well and possibly use a hot water bottle if it’s too cold.
