I have the original Jetboil stove, but as anyone familiar with this will know the mesh part of the burner gradually burns away over time and frustratingly Jetboil discountinued this as a replcement part several years ago.

Following on from advice on an old UKC thread (thankyou Dave Emms) I have finally got round to sourcing some replacement mesh to make a DIY repair.

Ebay "Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh" (#18 Mesh - 0.45mm Wire - 0.961mm Aperture)
- £2.49 for a 6" square piece incl postage

I found that four discs of mesh gave a pretty much normal flow rate / burn time, which means I have enough for a further three/four replacements when needed. The pizo still works perfectly.

Only just done this so no idea on the longevity of the repair, but it's certainly cheaper than a whole new burner or replacing the stove entirely. Love my Jetboil and really pleased that our travel kettle is back in operation - hopefully this info may be helpfull to someone else with a much loved but elderly Jetboil.
