Hopefully off to Italy next week and spending a few days in the mountains with the hope of getting a day of climbing in.

It will ideally be single pitch sport but I can't really take a rope / rack as gettig the train from the UK.

Does anyone know of any hire companies in the area? Alternatively any pad hire companies?

Why can you not on the train?

I could but it's a 2/3 week trip and looking to just carry a 45L rucksack.

A rack and rope would be a pain but granted not impossible.

I don't know about rope and rack, but you can certainly rent bouldering mats from the climbing shops in San Martino

Maybe it's just me, but I'd never, ever rent a climbing rope. It's your life.
