Hi,

Looking to get away for the first time in a very very long time (Covid etc) to Kalymnos. Does anyone now what it is like nowadays with booking scooters/cars? It's three of us, 2 adults, one 12 year old.  Do we have to book in advance (it is the week before Easter)? And where would you book or just turn up -staying in Massouri btw. Last time we got a car, but mainly because the wee man was quite young then, four or five.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Wouldn't have thought you would need to book ahead at that time of year, but if you're looking for peace of mind it can't do any harm. I've used Drossos https://kalymnos-scooter-rental.gr/ and Mike's Bikes http://mikesbikeskalymnos.com/ in the past and never had any issue with either...  

We took our 3 month year old daughter out last year, and Drossos was kind enough to have a car left right on the dock at Pothia (we were arriving late at night) with the keys in the glove compartment, and for us to do the same on the way back out.  Absolute superstar.

using Mikes bikes regularly for scooters, you may drop him a message a few days before,  no formal booking needed. 

I've never booked scooters in advance, and never had a problem getting one 

Thanks everyone! Will just drop a message a few days before. I think we have used Mike's bikes in the past if my memory is right..now I just have to remember how to drive a scooter
