Could anybody recommend a Dark Sky location on the West Coast of Wales that isn't too high for a non-hill walker to get to photograph the Milky Way?

Any suggestions for coastal locations, cliff top or easyish hills would be most appreciated.

Cheers

I have. 😀

However I'd also appreciate recommendations from people who have good local knowledge to help maximise the time that I have to set my camera up in day light.

St Davids Head will be as good as anywhere, but maybe a 1/2 hour walk along the coast path from Whitesands with some exposed bits.

Abermawr/Aberbach would probably be even better, and much closer to the road.

There’s some good pictures of traeth llanddwyn/newborough beach with the Milky Way behind the lighthouse. That’s not too much of a walk and on the flat sand if the tide is at the right time.

Have a look at Alyn Wallace as he has lots of stuff on the Internet about astrophotography and much of it based in Wales.
