Based in Germany - anybody bought from them ? Specifically have you had any additional taxes / shipping charges applied - their website says not but I thought I'd  check. Thanks

No idea about the post Brexit specifics, but in general they are a legit Swedish company with two stores in Stockholm. Their online stuff in Germany is handled via Campz, one of the larger German online stores. I have bought from both, no issues!

I bought a pair of B3s last Novemeber from them. They took quite a while to arrive (over 2 weeks if I remember) due to Brexit related stuff. No problems with the store though, no extra charges etc. I would use them again.

No problems here either. One order end of last year and one earlier this year. Takes around 10 days for stuff to arrive(Inverness), but that’s down to customs clearance our side. No hidden or extra charges.

Be sure your entire order (I think including shipping costs) is under £135, or you'll get stung.

If more than that, split across multiple orders, or if buying an individual item worth more than £135, you'd be better to buy it in the UK.

I've bought from them before and they're reputable.

Bought something last year...took a week to arrive and didn't fit (not their fault though) so sent it back (free) and got a refund a fortnight later. I would use again if the price was very good and I wasn't in a rush...

In reply to indigo:

Why not buy from a UK shop?

Lots of them.

Because the item I wish to purchase is not available in the UK

I'm not sure about that. Not sure how it works exactly but many stores on the continent now include everything in the price you pay at checkout. My boots were £300 and there were not any extra fees or charges.

Although Addnature are located in Germany they are also registered in the UK, therefore no extra charges will be applied other than shipping.

I've had several shipments from bergzeit and alpinetrek over that value recently no problem (clothes and climbing hardwear).

If the goods are EU origin there shouldn't be any customs due, and if postage is free (which these sites offer below that threshold) import VAT is the same amount as regular VAT.

I think they both use Hermes for delivery, who don't charge customers as they don't accept deliveries where the retailer hasn't paid import duties up front.

I'd assume most retailers who have resumed shipping to the UK would be doing the same?

Must be pretty specialist. Have you asked any of the UK shops if they can get it for you?

Most will

Yes, bought from them twice. No additional charges, no other problems, except that it takes a while for the packages to arrive.
