Iv just tried to search for a little crag called Kilnsey using the crag search and it’s not able to locate it. 
The previous version of find crags used to auto generate crag names as you typed, this new “improved “ version never seems to find what I am looking for. 
Anyone else have issues with this or just me?

I've noticed it too. If you go into 'my logbook' first, the search function works as you were expecting.

It may be the procedure that needs streamlining since Kilnsey is found however it is slightly different.

Type 'Kilnsey' in the top left box and hit the blue 'Search' bar and Kilnsey is found for me.

That works for me but as I'd had problems in Wales I just tried finding a minor misspelt crag name and it doesn't work (when the drop-down options on the my logbook page usually does).

hi Alan, thanks for getting back to me.  Iv just followed your link, typed Kilnsey in the box for crag name/buttress etc and the results were not found.

This search function used to work fine but in the last update when it changed from “crag search “ to “advanced search “  and i don’t think it’s worked since for me.

If you follow the content of Alan's link as a pathway not a link you will get to the crag search you are used to.

Can I ask what browser you are using?

For what its worth, we do plan on adding back the suggest-as-you-type feature in the advanced search. For now, this feature can be found at the top of this page: https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/

Have you checked at the bottom of the search page?  When I first tried the new map I didn't realise the map had changed and the crag link was below the map.

Is it because you need to specifically click 'Search' rather than that button having focus? Rather than just 
kilnsey [carriage return]

Good point. It took me a few goes to suss that out as well.
