I'm staying near to Abersoch on the Lleyn peninsula this week and looking for a suitable crag to take the niece and nephews climbing - some low grades on good rock, shortage single pitch routes with an easyish walk in, suitable to set up a couple of bottom ropes, a classic rock route for me to tick (not essential) - not too much to ask!

I heard Barmouth Slabs are good, but wondering if there is anything closer. I'm sure I read about a crag at Tremadog which is good but can't seem to find it.

Any advice would be great!

Pant Ifan Upper Tier might be ok for your purposes. Short walk in but steep. 

That was the first place that came to mind for me too.

Whilst there's a wide variety of crags on the Lleyn, few are that user friendly!! 

this, exactly. A bit of bouldering and squirrelling round to the right hand side too.
