Anyone got any plans for the Jooberlee?

I am going to hang an offensive banner off my property and would also like a suitable playlist to drown out any local garden/street parties. Suggestions on this thread welcome - I'll start with some of the more obvious contenders:

It's the LDWA 100 miler (trans pennine), so prediction for the weekend....pain.

No doubt accompanied by the fabulous collection of totally superficial 80's music on my ipod. Won't repeat last years mistake of listening to the audio book of touching the void through the night. Inappropriate.

How about something by the composer popularly seen as the voice of a quintessentially English landscape, Ralph Vaughan Williams? What may be less well-known is that he was a committed socialist who refused a knighthood on at least one occasion and who once went so far as to say, "all right-minded people are communists." The last movement of the Sixth Symphony might work well, since any ascending larks appear to have been incinerated in a post-apocalypse wasteland.
