Can anyone tell me who the main distributor is for Salawa products in the UK?

Unfortunately I believe they have pulled out of the UK because of Boris’ Brexit and deal directly with shops

The brand are still very much present within the UK and you'll find their products within a selection of specialist shops. Unfortunately Brexit has presented severe challenges to direct sales via their website, which has been on hold since we left the EU (see screenshot attached).

Without wishing to derail this conversation, I'm yet to hear a single positive report from any brand we deal with - either at home or abroad - that has anything good to say about our having left the European Union.

I - like many - am yet to see the 'Brexit Bonus'...

Now then Rob, none of that defeatist talk. Who doesn't love being able to measure the lorry queues at Dover in furlongs?

Yes, I saw that on their website, but isn't there usually a UK based distributor that brings them in? problem I have is, I need size 3.5 which most retailers don't hold in stock. And yes, I totally agree Brexit has messed thing up big time, same problem with La sportiva, customes and tax charges incurred if you order from them, so very annoying!

It varies quite a lot within the industry - sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't.

Some brands operate on a distribution basis, with a UK warehouse that holds stock of the product. Others operate on an agency basis, where they handle sales, but the product itself is shipped from a central warehouse elsewhere in the world.

I'll let you know how I feel about mine once I finally get it....

That's true but you can buy from Salewa direct via Amazon ("Salewa Shop"). I recently bought some shoes this way, price/delivery was great.
