Last week I cleared up the remains of a campsite and fire pit at the top of Bamford Edge.
It was a recent site, the campers had brought in pallet wood in plastic bags. The fire had burned down into the peat 2-3". For those that don't know there was a big fire here a couple of years ago. I couldn't carry out the fire wood so I dispersed it around so it couldn't be used again.
