I've been looking for recent information about alpine climbing in Morocco because I'm potentially planning a trip there next year. I'm finding it hard to find stuff about the Atlas mountains that are not just in the Toubkal area and I'm also trying to find out if it is still required by law to go with a guide.

As far as I can tell, they still require tourists to be guided but that's only near Toubkal and they don't particularly care beyond the refuge.

Does anyone know anywhere I can find some more information about the law surrounding climbing there and if there are areas that don't require guides?
