I want to buy a Black Diamond Vapor.

My head circumference is 58cm.

According to BD sizing chart:

Size S is 53 - 59

Size L is 58 - 63

Which do I get? I'm buying online so can't try one on.

I had this issue and ended up going for a Petzl Scirocco as 58cm landed right in the middle of their M/L size rather than one end where neither felt quite right.

I’ve just bought a Black Diamond helmet - but it’s a half dome and not a Vapor.

They probably share the same sizing.

I’ve got a 57 size head and bought a M/L which is 56-63 and it’s a perfect fit.

I have the Vector. I bought in M/L because my head is about 60cm but it's pretty big and I look like a mushroom. 

Size range for the Vector appears to be the same: 53-59cm (S/M) / 58-63cm (M/L)

If you can't go try it on (which should always be your first port of call, same as climbing shoes), then I'd lean towards the smaller size. 

I'm the same and I got small.. really nice and snug so it doesn't get in the way. My previous helmet was one where I was at the small end of the range and it felt cumbersome

I'll be passing Decathlon this week so I'll try a Half Dome for size and make a decision.

I am 58cm of schwad and go M/L in BD.

BD S/M make me look a conehead.
