Hi I hope you're well.

I suffered with colitis for 9 years. After going through a long flare up last year and having no success in controlling it with prescription meds I started looking for an alternative solution. After a lot of trial and error I finally managed to get myself off all prescription meds and in to full remission.

I have put together a video explaining what worked for me in the hope it might help some other poor souls suffering with this horrible disease.

Please feel free to share the link with anyone who you think might find this helpful.

Thanks

Shane

The cynic in me was expecting this to be you selling something, but fair play to you an honest video, do you not consider qing dai to be a medication then?

The SCD seems to have helped many, and it's probably quite a healthy way to live anyway.

I found it too restrictive but have used it to help settle flares.

There won't be a universal cure all for UC however as there seem to be different types, for myself what worked the most was moving from a stressful career. Mine started in 2005 and had two large flare ups s year. Now no longer on azathioprine and not needed any steroids for a few years and only low dose anti inflammatories.

SCD is definitely worth learning about though

Well you could call the qing dai medication but its a natural remedy as opposed to something thats pushed by big pharma. I used it for around 6 months in total, unlike being told by my specialists that I'd be on mesalasine for the rest of my life.

Yes stress is a major factor for a lot of people, glad you got it under control. All the best.
