The BBC has just published a short article about ice climbing in Northern India - bit of an esoteric place to go but reputedly really good ice and probably a fun place to be for one of their ice climbing festivals!

I planned an expedition there but was thwarted by COVID. It looks amazing, but pretty tricky logistically to actually get there!

Just booked a trip to Hemsedal last night. I'm beginning to wish I'd booked this instead, the food in India is much better, no offense Norway.

What are you talking about?  For a few hundred quid you can get a good pizza and beer for a group in Hemsedal.

Cheers

Toby

(Seriously though, I had a pizza and beer there and the pizza was really really good as wells being quite expensive)

We're actually filling half of our checked in bags with food as well as kit. If we were going to India, we'd be going with half empty bags and filling them with food to bring home.
