Hi

Anyone know of a beanie that fits under a helmet and has a hole for a ponytail? Most with holes seem to have the hole at the top, not near the rim.

Thanks

I'd have thought a man with your skills would be able to custom modernise a standard shop bought one?

Just remembered, my Bontrager beanie for under a cycle helmet also has a ponytail port at the rim. Bought the Bontrager at Tiso.

Headband is the choice here.

Remember Billy Connolly's advice on character:
“Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on.”

You can't leave it like that!

What did you go with? Tea cosy? Headband? One of the hats recommended by one of the posters actually endeavouring to be helpful? A crew cut?

On tenterhooks,

Get a clip on ponytail? much more practical than poking a hole in your hat.

On the few occasions I've been to hospital and been left alone, I don't feel complete until I've pulled a rubber glove on my head.

Ha ha. That's a bit extreme, but I bet you make an excellent Foghorn Leghorn.

Oh, speaking of rubber gloves..

I saw this the other day, and at some point I am definitely nicking that idea.

When I started reading that I could only see the first part of the sentence (On the few occasions I've been to hospital and been left alone, I don't feel complete until I've...) and was intrigued to see the rest of the sentence.
My imagination was going in all kinds of direction as to what you did and I was a bit disappointed that it was only the old 'rubber glove on head' trick.
Did you manage to pull it over your nose and then blow it up so that it looked you had a massive bird like crest?

I say, I say boy, they're not the easiest thing to get on especially with a head like mine

Nah, tend to leave them just covering the forehead. Ive either been caught by a nurse and given a disapproving look, or told to "stop being an arse hole" by Mrs TC.

Ok, this completely fails the ponytail test, but at least all profits go to cancer research!
