Hey, my partner and I are heading to Chamonix in April from NZ after having been away from a Europe a while.
What are peoples opinion on the need for touring skis for approaching the mixed routes (variety of objectives in mind so no specific approaches) this time of year? Better to leave in NZ or worth the extra baggage to prevent slog approaches?
