Sorry to butt into your topic, the nice administrators can delete it after you've read it I'm sure.

Not sure what changes you made to the NE round 2 results but a couple of people have mentioned that the round 1 results were wrong. I wasn't at the wall that day but I'm told that the results for the tie breaker are the wrong way round (or something like that, I'm sure you can find someone who can tell you exactly) . Hope this doesn't cause too many problems.

The Manual column is *number of extra points awarded* rather than placings. Would that explain things?

The round 2 errors were in the Girls 10-12 route scores (they were all 300 before).
Other than that, the round 2 results submission from Sunderland confirmed the round 1 results.

The column "manual" has had the placings written into it then it's been read as extra points awarded. (I guess).

Like I say, I'm not sure about this (They let me out for the day!) but people are telling me Sophia didn't win the tie break.

I've checked with the guy who has managed the scoring at all three rounds in your region.
There was a little confusion in the girls 10-12 category at round 1 (one competitor competed in the superfinal unnecessarily; her place had already been decided by Countback) but this was resolved *before* the results were submitted to me.
So, in summary, the published NE round 1 results are and always have been, correct.

Can you call me on the number above today (I'm in til 4pm) if it's poss. If not I'll email you on Monday from home. I'm still getting people telling me the results are wrong, but the reasons I've been given are something I'd rather not post. Really am sorry about the hassle.

Thanks to the ppl who phoned to explain my confusion. The ppl who brought about the confusion will be punished until they learn to pay more attention & stop questioning ppl who know far more than they do!

This completes the regional stage of the BRYCS.
The red text on the results pages indicates the top three competitors in each category in each region.
These should progress to the national final at Ratho on Saturday 25 September.

Where a tie has resulted in more than three competitors being shown with a red highlight, a climb-off decider or other decision is awaited.

Many thanks to all the AYC's and other volunteers who have worked so hard to provide me with prompt and clear results returns.
