Two New E8s

Kevin Thaw has added a new direct route up the Trident Area on WImberry. Sectioned, E8 6c, starts direct and finishes up Neptune's Tool.

Andrew Earl has added a direct start to his dad's old route at Great Wanney in Northumberland. Endless Flight Direct has been given a grade of E8 7a.

Not sure about the exit. When Shaun and I saw it, the chalk marks stopped just under the over hang. Met Kevin later that day, chilling at Rob's Rocks and he mentioned that the exit didn't climb any new ground.

In reply to Anonymous: Wristcutters goes up the wall to the right and straight up into the short overlapping blind groove. From there it's straight up the middle of the wall on pockets and straight through the roof.

In reply to UKC News: the obvious challenge now is to slightly 'improve ' on kevin's route and carry on in the same line right over the roofs to finish directly...
