Is Steall Hut a proper bothy - or do you have to book to stay there (via MCOS perhaps?).

Cannae find anything much aboot it on the web.

It's owned by the JMCS Lochaber section, who have no web site. I'm pretty sure that it can only be booked by clubs, not individuals, but would have to check to be certain.

Stayed there several times, but it's always been in the company of an ex LMRT member. Damn good hut, but you need to ken someone "in the know"...

Have also stayed there a few times, very nice. I think it costs a couple of quid a night, although I'm not sure whether only groups can book it.
