Jernej Kruder has made the long awaited 2nd ascent of Chris Sharma's 'Es Pontas' in Mallorca. He has been trying the route for the last month with German Jan Hojer. Sharma never graded the route, although it's thought to be in the 9a+ area.

Great fall season in climbing so far! Es Pontas gets repeated, Adam is battling through Dawn Wall and did a one day (close to onsight) ascent of The Nose, Wideboyz crush the incredible roof crack (although their Cruzifix project did not fall until now...) and Nalle made the FA what is thought to be the first Fb 9A boulder. Did I miss any of the BIG news?

Great effort. Ten years to wait for a second ascent is pretty good going.

That seems like almost all the hard Sharma routes have now had a repeat. The only exceptions I can think of are El Bonne Combat and Neandathal. And wasn't someone pretty close to repeating the latter earlier this year? Ondra or Magnus Mitboe maybe?

Magnus was close but did not do it (in 2014?). But AFAIK it remains unrepeated.
