In reply to UKC Gear:

So adidas let a few local children into a climbing centre for a day. Who is really benefiting from this? Where is the national programme to enable all children access to climbing walls? At present you are barred if you can't come up with the entry fee. Yet more tokenism from a global company. Pathetic

In reply to UKC Gear:

Minimal effort from Adidas.

When I was a young man the local authority in Bradford employed people (including me) to take kids climbing week in week out, indoors and out, from the Inner City and other areas (in fact one of my colleagues introduced John Dunne to climbing whilst he was at Bingley Grammar School.

Sound like Adidas just want cheap publicity.
