NEWS: Avalanche Warning Snowdonia

I would just like to warn everyone of a significant risk of avalanche in Snowdonia at the moment.

I am fortunate to have a job that involves flying helicopters around the hills of Snowdonia on occasions and what I saw today was quite frightening.

Good report. This thaw is going to rapidly weaken every one of the multiple layers in the snowpack!

Thanks for the links guys, i've forwarded them on to a few people.

One of our ex team members (who is also known to this parish) was talking about the avalanche conditions in the Berwyns last week..
