The line of the Mirror Route on Pik 4810, 3 kbIn summer 2012, Tom Codrington, Ian Cooper and Ian Faulkner from the Oxford University Mountaineering Club took on the Big Walls of the Karavshin in Kyrgyzstan.

Their sights were on a rare free-ascent of the enormous 1200m face of Pik 4810. This is their trip report.

Great article and sounds like loads of fun. However someone needs to make a comment about student groups overcrowding honeypot crags and they were fixing ropes.

Hah, what did Rob bet? There isn't that much easier free-climbing but you could certainly find fun stuff to do if you were prepared to aid more of it.
