I was really disappointed not to be around for this, but watched the livestream as/when I could - very impressed.
As suggested by others within a separate thread, the Women's was almost a foregone conclusion in terms of Shauna dominating, but it was great to see Tara put in such a strong performance for 2nd and Leah for 3rd.
The Men's was a total gripper though, I couldn't believe it when Matt Cousins pulled off that dyno at the final go possible in order to come through and win it. Amazing performance by Orin, Nathan and Billy too, particularly the former who just seemed to be riding on the crest of the wave throughout - nice to see someone smiling so much throughout such a tense competition!!
This weekend the British Bouldering Championships took place at the annual Cliffhanger event on Devonshire Green, Sheffield. Ellie Fyller and Charlie Low attended for UKC.
