Blast! There goes any possibility of ticking the entire crag.
 Lemony 23 Apr 2009
In reply to UKC News: Please tell me there's a video of this coming?
 Jack Geldard 23 Apr 2009
In reply to Lemony: I don't think so, but it would be amazing wouldn't it.

Maybe we should petition them to go back with a video camera!

I was just going to do the usual but what has he done on grit, then read the article and realised i was a wee bit out of touch with some of these hard repeats and new routes.

Well done to the lads, the challenge now is to find them even more outrageous routes to attempt.

If your quick there is (in UKC terms at least) It also blows my idea of 100% ticking the crag... doh !!

There is always some rotten spoilsport who puts a guide out of date just as it is about to be printed. I think they get a frisson from doing it.

That's the cave that's often full of cows (and cow sh*t) isn't it? Was there any word of the number/size/tubbiness of cows that were below the route on the lead attempt? I think this could seriously affect the grade...

Personally I think the sort of perverts who enjoy this sort of climbing should be locked away....

But not in a dank cave full of cow bob, or they will only find some other crazy route to demorolize the rest of us with !!

Good work though lads !!

There was a bat on the floor of the cave on sunday. Funny kind of a juxtaposition if still there: bat on floor and humans hanging from a crack.

fantastic. This is real climbing. It is good to have a change from the latest power endurance sport or crimpy bouldering achievement.
