Tony Scott, the famous film director was also a British climber.

He has recently committed suicide in Los Angeles.

What an amazing revelation this is, that he soloed Cenotaph. I wonder if anyone else on UKC knows any more about his British climbing ? (As far as I know, his brother, Ridley, has never done any rockclimbing).

That's quite impressive (soloing Cenotaph).

(I know folk have soloed Right Wall etc but it's still something most wouldn't even consider!)
