NEWS: Fifty Hour Push Nepal FA for Gottlieb and Kellogg

David Gottlieb and Chad Kellogg on the summit of Nepal's Pangbuk Ri (6716m), 4 kbAmerican alpinists David Gottlieb and Chad Kellogg have made what is thought to be the first ascent of Nepal's Pangbuk Ri (6716m). The pair climbed in a single push, summiting via the south face after around twenty six hours of climbing. The descent took them a further twenty four hours.

The route (VI, AI5, M5,1400m) was a defining moment in Kellogg's climbing...

That chad kellogg, trust me he didn't climb this, where are his official timekeepers, he says 50 hours but from the Gps tracking bug I injected in his sleep he was clearly in bed for those 50 hours.

look here is the log... chad kellogg + time he says on climb = in bed at his house.

I on the other hand did it in 49 hours, and employed my mum as timekeeper.

this should be taken to the highest court in the land etc..........
