20-year-old Laura Rogora has made the first repeat of Stefano Ghisolfi's Erebor 9b/+ at Eremo di San Paolo, Arco, Italy. The line is Italy's hardest sport route and Rogora's ascent is the hardest redpoint by a female climber to date.

Close but not quite. Adam Ondra climbed Golpe de Estado when he was 17 (he was born in 1993).

Great to see the gap closing. I wonder if we'll see some more hard ascents now the Olympics is over and climbers like Laura have more time to climb outdoors?
