Following their recent ascent of Cobra Crack in Squamish, Canada, UKC caught up with Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker aka 'The Wideboyz' whilst they were having a wet weather rest day in Squamish.

Hah. Similarly I, like Adam Ondra, struggled on La Marie-Rose at Bas Cuvier. I ran out of time, whereas I think young Adam succeeded in the end.

So with reluctance, I'll have to admit that I'm not yet as good as Ondra

Had a check on supertopo and there was no repeat up to 2012 and I think it would have been big news if it happened in the last year. That photo from the John Long - 'How to rock climb' guide is a classic.

In reply to wbo: I think Alex Honnold tried it but wasn't that impressed by the fact that it's almost unclimbable without pre-placed gear. That's my 3rd hand info anyway...
