INTERVIEW: Jacob Cook on Big Walls and Bivouacs

Bronwyn and Jacob on El Capitan, 4 kb26 year-old Jacob Cook and 22 year-old Canadian Bronwyn Hodgins climbed The Nose of El Capitan in May 2014 - as their first big wall climb. Jacob and Bronwyn have since expanded their big walling CV, with ascents of classic routes such as Freerider - also in Yosemite - Space Shot and Moonlight Buttress in Zion.

We got in touch with the Leeds-based pair to shed some light on their journey from big-wall newbies on The Nose to big-wall addicts...

Nice to read about these multi-pitch ascents of classic routes. What climbings all about, if you have the time and courage to take it.
