Natalie Berry talks to climber, mountaineer, and science presenter, Huw James. In light of COP26, they discuss how climate change will affect people in the outdoors, the issues facing the outdoor industry, and his future plans.
I'm with him on trying to get people to feel less guilty. I've noticed the shame that people feel, can sometimes stifle climate action, whether through making individual choices or joining some collective political movement to bring the change.
But instead he seemed to be saying, 'don't feel guilty because we all take flights and there is going to be some technology to save the day and you can continue doing exactly what you've been doing'
I found the interview to be an implicit form of climate denialism.
