And I was impressed with doing an 8a in 3 sessions recently...!

Great news.

Aside from how impressive this individual ascent is, what does it say about how hard Mutation (9a+) is?! I believe Will has been trying that for a while (sporadically though).

Will reckons 8c+ into an 8A/+ boulder for mutation

In reply to Wizzy:

Savage! Considering Seb Bouin's La Rage is 9b/+ with 8c into 8B, I'm interested to see what comes of Mutation once it finally gets a repeat.

Very inspiring stuff from Will.

Blows my mind, well done Will

Awesome work from Will. Will's ascent of Evolution 8c+ in a single session basically 2nd go showed what he was capable of!

Absolutely amazing! I have one question though, I don't know if anybody knows the answer: judging from the photo in the article showing Will's hand... is it just me or his fingers look weirdly short? Is it some strange optical effect or does Will indeed have short fingers? Basically just trying to convince myself I can't climb hard because my fingers are too long!

His finger is bent

Amazing Job Will. Well done!

In reply to UKC News:  Has anyone ever climbed 9b in one session? or is this potentially up there with fastest ever ascent of 9b?
